To my surprise Salcombe recently topped Sandbanks near Poole as having the highest property values in the UK outside of London.

“Keep it up Imogen” a personal trainer shouts to his client as they run along the waterfront.

Further along a well fed man is talking loudly to his wife “Before I press the green button I need to spend some actual face time with Nigel”.

    • Thanks – it struck me like an oil painting too at the time – the subdued palette and high contrast tones

  1. David Richardson says:

Most impressive Quintin – but you must be nuts! 4 years ago I sailed in a 16ft open dinghy around the coast of Britain with another OD, and I thought that was mad enough…………but I too got some fabulous photos, especially of the western isles and the very north of Scotland. All the best, David

    • Haha thanks David. Sailing around Britain IS mad – walking around it is just stubborn! Cant wait for the mighty Scottish mountains coming right down to the Sea – will be a different world. I expect I’ll need to carry a week or more of provisions in parts though. I still dress head to toe in Rohan! All the best, Quintin

Whether you have comments on the photos, some knowledge or a personal story on this area you’d like to share, or you’ve spotted a typo or error, I’d love to hear your thoughts.
