Thanks, there’s a lot to get your teeth into in Plymouth. I really felt I just skimmed the surface by following the shore line there. Many of the particularly neglected places like the Quality Hotel and Lido and about to be knocked down and restored respectively so the place will look very different soon.
Just been to Day 1 and left a comment. Will have to go through your blog a day at a time as we are looking at them from a story line and learning from you composition. If we try and do it all at one, might overdose on the Quality of your work.
The Lido isn’t about to be knocked down. It’s closed every winter and then cleaned up for opening in May through to Sep. Come back then and it’s a magnificent pearl in the Plymouth Sound.
I wrote it’s about to be restored and was referring to Quality Hotel when I said it was about to be knocked down. I’ve seen pics of the lido in the summer and can see it looks beautiful then. These pics are just my impressions on the day I walked through 🙂
