I really admire this project. I live in Llanelli so these are all local to me, I can identify many of the locations from the day before, this day and th walk on to Carmarthen. This series especially captures the in between places nature of this stretch, the skies and the contrails. Not quite urban industrial South Wales, not quite rural West Wales.
I’m glad to hear you feel the pictures capture the sense of place of where you know well. It’s the inbetween of things that I love about the coast and you are right this part is especially so. I’ve just crossed the border into England near Chester so thinking about South Wales is quite nostalgic!
