Not your favourite walk, me think! Past it many times living in Cheshire.
I find industrial sites interesting and overlooked parts of the landscape but here I was surprised by the eye watering gasses and varied stenches from the works! Although pedestrians can walk through the road in the middle of Stanlow Oil refinery photography is not permitted so a large part of this day’s walk was not recorded.
Must admit, you recorded it very well! It used to be all ICI with close access to the M56/ M6 motorway and the River Mersey to Liverpool and Irish Sea. Nowaydays it’s just E.Stobbart distribution centre (You shop we drop).
It has a certain beauty for sure. I saw their sign in amongst all of this !
