A few years ago I went on a spectacular walk, lead by the “Queens Guide” across the sands from Arnside to Grange-over-sands. Well worth it if you can time it right, otherwise I guess you’ll go the long way round!

How much weight have you lost since you started your quest?

Thought they might have had a sign for Spam and CHips

    • Actually body weight management is quite tricky on this, I have to eat carefully not to gain weight! I walk about a week a month where i’m burning up to 4,000 calories a day when I’m backpacking up and down cliffs. But often arriving late into a small town the only food available is junk food. Then immediately more sedentary when i’m home editing.

Whether you have comments on the photos, some knowledge or a personal story on this area you’d like to share, or you’ve spotted a typo or error, I’d love to hear your thoughts.
