I remember that one being a tough walk along the shingle beach for miles and miles. But I was pleased at Ravenglass to find there actually is a pedestrian route over the railway bridge so I didn’t have to walk all the way around the river!
It was indeed, quite an otherworldly feel. I detoured up Scafell at Ravenglass so crossing that railway bridge definitely felt like a return to easy ground!
What a wonderful pebble beach, irregardless. A lovely area. 🙋

I find a lot of garbage in gardens as well. It always seems so out of place but, I guess it’s a part of it all now.
