Found some treasure by the shore of Loch Fyne.

Picking my way along the foreshore of Loch Fyne.

Tiny room the night before at Inveraray Hostel, ideal for me with everything I need and nothing I don’t. Wish there were more of these for rest days, B&Bs can get very expensive for solo travellers.

Scottish kids are so tough the public needs to be informed when they’re at large

Many try to escape from Scotland. Few succeed.

Still very light at 10pm, I wouldn’t be able to sleep without an eyemask

    Well done – those short videos are reminiscent of my Groats – End walk many years ago – you just had to trust your luck that you were on the right track heading in the right direction – if you got it wrong it was an awful detour with more miles walked for no gain – just pain.

      It’s exciting when things go right and very frustrating when they don’t. I did that walk twenty years ago too. which way did you go? In Scotland I went JOG-Wick-inverness-Edingburgh

    I also went South, in the hope it was more down hill….Went JoG – Tongue – Loch Ness, Stirling and between Glasgow and Edinburgh. Mostly following John Hillaby’sroute,
