Where there are no paths finding quad bike tracks are a good sign I won’t end up in a bog and that a decent track isn’t too far away.

It’s an exceptionally beautiful island and a companion for many months since I first saw it off the Ayrshire coast https://theperimeter.uk/2018/04/22/day-196-girvan-to-dunure-culzean-castle/ this was the last time I’ll catch a glimpse of it on this walk.
