An easier section of this stretch of wild coast.
Intricate route-finding towards Loch Melfort. Sometimes the rocks were easier going before they became too steep and sometimes the woods were open enough to allow passage for a while. Both were very slow going,.
Retreating away from the coast up this gully after encountering sheer cliffs down below.
Unperturbed by ten steel wedges or fire, the resilience of this stump is inspiring.

What tent did you use? If you had to do it again would you use the same one?
I used a Terra Nova laser Photon with MSR Mini Groundhog stakes on the main guys. Yes been very happy with it for the weight.
