Deer fences crisscrossed my route today and the awkward procedure of climbing them offers a fine opportunity to win a darwin award.
I’m pleased to see you are able to continue your walk Quintin, even in winter! I enjoyed some fine walking around Loch Leven back in the summer but sadly my age and joints rule out wild camping now. I enjoy your photography immensely. Good luck and good walking.
Thanks, the light can be more interesting in the winter…. for the 3 minutes a week then isn’t raining! I need a thicker sleeping pad than twenty years ago so I can imagine it gets more and more uncomfortable as the years pass.
I love Lady Margaret’s Tower – obviously not NT Scotland as no guard rails or warning signs.
