The squidgy slippery descent towards Loch Sunart

A doer upper

After a morning of stinging hail in the face that feels like I’ve got sunburn, this tastes good!

Desperate to get get out of the freezing rain I shelter in the porch of this isolated holiday cottage as there’s nobody around.

Not helpful to have this as a permanent notice

Putting these on makes me feel five degrees warmer!

Ooh that looks like wild, wet, cold weather – are you attempting to catch up on time? As surely not a time to be walking the hills in those conditions.

    • Because I walk with a certain number of days food and fuel and have fixed travel dates for each section to fit around family and architectural photography jobs I need to walk every day I’m on each section no matter what the weather.
