A few years ago I went on a spectacular walk, lead by the “Queens Guide” across the sands from Arnside to Grange-over-sands. Well worth it if you can time it right, otherwise I guess you’ll go the long way round!
Yes Cedric Robinson still does them, exclusively as charity affairs as far as I could make out, sadly the dates didn’t work for me so long way around it was! https://www.yourguide2thelakedistrict.co.uk/events-in-the-lake-district/morecambe-bay-walks/

How much weight have you lost since you started your quest?
Thought they might have had a sign for Spam and CHips
Actually body weight management is quite tricky on this, I have to eat carefully not to gain weight! I walk about a week a month where i’m burning up to 4,000 calories a day when I’m backpacking up and down cliffs. But often arriving late into a small town the only food available is junk food. Then immediately more sedentary when i’m home editing.
